Week 6

This week while working on our 20 percent project, we haven't done much. We had Spring Break last week and not a lot was accomplish this week at all. We tried to communicate with each other but we had no successful meetings to plan out anything that week. This week had gone really fast, lots of tests, homework, and preparation of upcoming labs. I honestly don't even know what to do at this moment, like this whole project and all. It's like a lot of stress and just not knowing if it can be accomplished or not. At a point I feel like giving up and fail this, but to see this in the end it's not worth leaving, more like finishing what has started. That will be my goal in total to finish and complete this! (:

Week 5

This week, we've been working on the whole process of showing people about how being obese shows a lot of risks and can cause drastic changes in life. By the time we were planning to make brochures for people to let them inform of the healthy things and wise choices to make in life. It's either by making eating choices that will help a lot during life or the other choice with exercising and maintaining that level till you've seen results in doing that process. The most easiest ways to loose weight that I've researched in are : getting an account or membership to a online weight loss process, drinking water everyday, eat fewer bites during every meal, eat pears, grapefruit, almonds, chocolate, and beans which help with burning fat. Eating a variety of rainbow colored fruits and vegetables help in this as well, don't buy food which is prepared already, throw away or donate any clothes which don't fit anymore. Hopefully these routines help with loosing weight and feeling great!

Week 4

On the fourth week of the second semester, we've been doing progress on the 20% project. I've been doing research on the different types of diabetes you can get from not exercising which is really surprising. Diabetes means your blood sugar is too high, your body uses this blood sugar to produce energy. Having too much of blood sugar in your body can literally hurt you. Taking care of your diabetes is a healthy way to risks the chances of kidney, eye, feet, legs, and nerve problems in life. The chances of a heart attack or a stroke can also be a way to not risk the chances of being diabetic. There are three easy steps to take care of your diabetes and risks the chances :

  • Be active/ exercise on a daily basis
  • Eat healthy and right
  • Take medicines, prescribed by your doctor
In exercising it will lower your blood sugar, which is good in a diabetics life. (:

Week 3

This week on our 20% Project, we've been busy with two projects we have in school, so we've been trying to multitask on the two projects. Our member Heaven has been out for a week since she had to do some personal things to do in Mexicali, so me and Monica haven't really done anything at the moment. I've been doing research of risks of not exercising at all, which include: Coronary Heart Disease, Strokes, High blood pressure, Breathlessness, Flabby body, Little energy, Stiff joints, Osteoporosis, Poor posture, Overweight. These risks can be developed more and more into your generation the lack of energy for your sexual relationship can also have effect of the lack of energy for your children and grandchildren, and being a poor role model. The chart below can show you how people in the world aren't fit and out of shape and the risk factor that kills people more.

Week 1

Well we came up with another idea to do with our project, we will be interviewing people who are inactive or feel like they are and compare and contrast how all these people who we interview and find out how they feel. Contributing to how they feel we will ask them how do they feel when they workout and how they feel about their body and just experiences overall. By having this interviewing with people who think or feel like they're "obese" or "fat" they can think that just being healthy can help with either health and lifestyle. Having a healthy lifestyle can benefit with not developing any diseases or any serious conditions. These are some links regarding the causes of obesity and how to beat it!

Week 8

This week, which is our eight week during this project, we have tried to get communication from each but we can't get any responds back from each other. I suppose its simply because we have Caller Id and it shows as an unknown number each time they call. We hopefully will agree on a day we can actually do this. I have to also buy myself materials and footwear for this video, and also feel comfortable while doing this of course. I've been seeing a lot of workouts video as well as websites about the benefits about working out which is really healthy for the mind and to relief stress and bring down the risk of Alzheimer's in life. There's so many benefits in having a healthy life by just exercising all the time.
